What we do here
Everyday appointments and most procedures happen at Essex Road rather than somewhere across London.
Puppy and kitten courses, annual boosters, and kennel cough for dogs that board or go to daycare.
A first appointment is free for every newly registered pet, whatever the species or age.
Castration and spaying for cats and dogs, carried out in our own theatre.
Flea, tick and worming treatment, and prescriptions kept up to date on the healthcare plan.
Quick, and a legal requirement for dogs and cats in England.
Dental assessment and treatment with digital dental x-ray on site.
Four consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards, a prep room and theatre, and a large reception rather than a corridor. On site we have ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, an endoscope and an in-house laboratory, so most results come back during the visit instead of a week later.
The practice is RCVS accredited and holds a Cat Friendly Clinic Silver award.

From our Google reviews
★★★★★
“We have been with Medivet Canonbury for a few years now. Our dog Ziggy is always so well looked after, Leo is a very caring vet who always has Ziggy’s best interest in mind. The receptionists are amazing too and always help out when I have the dog and two kids in tow!”
★★★★★
“My cat developed a wound in the corner of his eye, so I called Medivet, registered over the phone, and was seen within 20 minutes. The vet and all the staff were warm, friendly, and reassuring.”
★★★★★
“I am deeply grateful to Canonbury Medivet for the care and support they provided over the past year as my dog, Zoe, went through a few health challenges – the team was always kind, patient and compassionate throughout.”
